2013-2014 Queen and Princess

Miss Michigan High School Rodeo Queen

Aly Allen

Hello, my name is Aly Allen. I am the 2014-15 Michigan High School Rodeo Association Queen. I am a senior at Lapeer High School.
I have been in high school rodeo for 5 years, were I have competed in the barrel racing, goat tying, and pole bending. Last year was my first opportunity to experience the National High School Finals Rodeo. I competed in the queen’s contest and the barrel racing, it was an experience I will never forget.
The closest friends I have are ones that I have met through the Michigan High School Rodeo Association, some I’ve met as early as the Junior High School Division. MIHSRA offers all rodeo events: bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, goat tying, barrel racing, pole bending, calf roping, break away roping, team roping and steer wrestling. We also offer cutting and shooting event, as well as the queen’s competition.
I would like to thank all of the local and national sponsors for their support. I would also like to give a huge thank you to former Michigan High School Rodeo Queens Jessalyn Gingrich and Chloe Yonker for their help in becoming the 2014-15 MIHSRA Queen!

Good luck and safe travels!
