I would like to say I'm pleased at how the recent rodeo's have been going. The board's decision to put an extra person in the arena to help the arena director and judges has been very beneficial. It is still the contestants responsibility to know your stock number and position in the rodeo and be prepared to compete when called.
We need to all be aware that we have some rodeo's coming up that are in conjunction with other associations and as MHSRA members and parents we need to express the highest standard of professionalism in our appearance, conduct, and flexibility in working with these co-sanctioned events. Their rules and time limits may vary from ours and if you are competing in both associations it is wise to know both sets of rules thoroughly.
